Overview

A dated 1960s home, brought forward six decades.

Sheridan Drive came to us with original pink-tile bathrooms, brown-stained cabinetry, popcorn ceilings with a long-standing crack across the kitchen, and an unfinished attic that could double the usable floor plan. The homeowners wanted a warm, modern interior with real material honesty — no vinyl, no laminate, no shortcuts.

We gutted the kitchen down to framing, opened the primary bathroom, rebuilt the attic as conditioned living space, and refreshed the exterior deck to match the new interior tone. Every surface, every fixture, every reveal was replaced.

01 · Kitchen

From closed-off & dated to open, warm, and functional.

Popcorn ceiling and long-running crack repaired. Cabinetry, counters, appliances, backsplash, flooring, and lighting all replaced. Live-edge waterfall bar on the peninsula anchors the room.

02 · Primary bathroom

Pink tile out. Modern tile, wood vanity, and matte-black fixtures in.

Original 1960s pink-tile bathroom stripped to framing. Frosted picture window preserved for privacy while flooding the room with natural light. Warm oak vanity, black hardware, and a subway-tile tub surround finish the scheme.

03 · Guest bathroom

Compact but complete — new shower, vanity, mirror, lighting, floor.

Space-efficient layout with a walk-in shower stall, black-framed sliding glass, spherical caged sconces, and porcelain plank flooring.

Book-matched panel walls and a wood bench.

Large-format faux-marble panel walls, rainhead + handheld combo, and a teak bench for accessibility.

05 · Living room

Base scope — refinished floors, new fixtures, opened sight lines.

Original hardwood floors preserved and refinished; ceiling fan and dated pass-through openings replaced. Sight lines opened into the new kitchen.

06 · Attic buildout

Unfinished storage → conditioned living space.

New OSB subfloor over the trusses, blown-in insulation stabilized, and framing prepped for HVAC and drywall. Adds meaningful square footage without changing the home's footprint.

07 · Deck

Refinished deck to match the new interior tone.

Existing deck sanded and finished in a deep charcoal to align with the interior palette. New outdoor lighting to follow.
